Welcome to the fifty-second issue of my weekly news article, Love dA Lit! Every Sunday this news article will aim to promote volunteer opportunities, various resources, prompts, challenges, and workshops, as well as highlighting various contests, interviewing various members of the literature community and spotlighting a specific group every week. This is by no means a complete list of all the literature going-ons, merely a tool to help you get involved and stay informed.

LiteratureforPoints is a "A place for those willing to write for points, and for those looking to commission certain writing. Original works, fan fiction, short stories, and poems included." They have a vast list of writers offering commissions as well as those offering translations. Learn more about this group by clicking here!
Thank you to dmnq8, who happily agreed to answer a few questions for me.
How is LiteratureforPoints different from the other literature groups on dA?
I haven't seen all the literature groups dA has to offer, but I've seen most of them, I think. LiteratureforPoints is different in that we're only a collection of writers who offer their services for points, instead of writers sharing their craft, or looking for guidance and support. I wanted one place both writers and prospective commissioners of writers could come to, and that's what this group is. It's very simple.
What did you hope to accomplish when you began LiteratureforPoints? Have you done that so far?
I had hoped to provide a place for writers to register their willingness to be commissioned for points, and a resource of same to the dA lit community. So far I'm amazed at how many people have joined. I honestly didn't think the group would grow so fast, but that only proves that there was a real need for it. I think I've accomplished the goal I set for myself in this regard, yes. Several people, including myself, have already been commissioned.
Anything else of note that you would like to share?
Yes. Our group is also unique in that our gallery is strictly for people wanting to 'advertise' something they'd like written. It's sort of like the classifieds section of a newspaper. There have been some submissions, but once a writer has been chosen the ad is removed. This leaves our gallery free for other submissions. Anyone can submit to our gallery.

Checking In
It's been quite a while since my last journal entry, about five years. I hope whoever is reading this knows I've never forgotten anyone and I think of all the friends I made here with such love and joy. I'm not sure how many people still linger on DA, but I hope that if you somehow stumble back to my page you know that I love you and wish you well. There is simply too much to go over for the span of five years, so I'll keep it short and sweet. I love you and I missed you. I don't write quite as much as I used to, but I've started dabbling more often again and was thinking of posting once more. I'm terribly out of practice, but it's something that's always been cathartic so it doesn't matter too much to me how "good" it is. Sometimes you just have to get the feelings out. Anyways, I hope you are having a wonderfully lovely day, my lovelies. How about some questions! What's your current favorite song? A video game you can't stop playing? TV show or movie you wish everyone else would
Renewal
It has been a rough few years for myself and my family. It is strange to think that for once in my adult life that I am legitimately doing well, not pretending or being close but not quite there. Things are almost infinitely better than 6 months ago and, if I'm honest, it feels like that was years ago. DA has always been a home and as I've slowly gotten better I find myself missing it and all the friends I've made more and more. I know I do not elaborate much on my personal life, but perhaps now that so much is behind me I can allow myself to discuss it more. In truth, I'm not even sure where to begin, but updating on what happened in the la
Birthdays and Change
I wanted to thank all the lovelies who wished me happy birthday recently, I read all your comments and it made me extremely happy. ♥ It was nice to hop on and see that I was thought of, I truly appreciate it beyond words.
However, I know have been very absent for a few months now. Things have not be going well in my life for the majority of the year (and if I'm honest the last 2 years) now and I have had to put DA on the back burner. I still find myself coming to the site, reading comments/replies, looking at deviations, but currently I am overwhelmed by everything that I can't bring myself to do much else.
I find myself now on the pr
