Holiday/Christmas/Just Because cards or letter time!

This year they will be Roly-Poly Birbs because birds are cute when they're fluffed up and poofy. Of course if cards aren't your thing (or you find my cards difficult to look at) I would happily write you a letter! I'd like to say I've improved since last year, but I'm still stuck at the level of "seven-year-old drawing you something at which you AWWWWW at and throw in the trash after I've forgotten I've drawn you the thing".

Sharing your physical address isn't for everyone as I know some of you are BABIES, MINIATURE HUMANS, LITTLE ONES, CHILDREN, TINY TOTS younger, so I'd be happy to write you a quick little note and upload it to for you. :eager:

I didn't make a journal showcasing my horrendous beautiful cards from last year, but I did upload them to with every intention of sharing them. :dummy:

Stars Purple (Free) Last year (2014) I made 54 cards, the year before that (2013) I made 46, the year before before that (2012) was 53, before before before that (2011) it was 52, and the very first year I maded (2010) 37! :iconhappycriesplz:

Stars Purple (Free)  If you think you'd like a card or letter please note me or comment!

Stars Purple (Free) If you feel uncomfortable giving out your address, but still would like something I'll write you a note and upload it to (I am slow to do this, like really slow though.)

Much cards, very drawn, such try.

Features and things you should check out!

Two Birds With One StoneThe thing about ghosts is, it's not the fact that they're dead or that they're breaking the boundary between worlds or going against the natural order of things that's actually scary about them. And it's not the fact that things move or go missing while you can see that nothing's touching them. I mean, yeah, it takes some getting used to – but there are rules and you can learn them. A different set of rules than ours, sure, but you once you get used to it it's as ordinary as, I don't know, traffic.
No, the actual problem with ghosts is the fear.
I don't mean the fear of the unknown, or anything. I mean they can just scare you for no reason. Turn on an uncanny switch. It's like dragonfear, except I've never seen or heard of a real dragon and I'm pretty sure it'd be impossible not to notice them if they were real. I mean, they're huge, they breathe fire (or acid or ice or – they breathe something, anyway), they fly, and anytime anyone gets within fi
House H(a)untingThe apparition raised its translucent arms and began to wail.
“I come from Hell! From Hell! From— Bloody hell.”
The spirit of Edmund Aspinall grabbed at his shroud as it headed downwards. He pulled it up round his shoulders again and wrapped it around his body.
“You don’t half feel the chill once you’re away from the flames of eternal damnation.”
Miss Amelia Gould, medium-slash-estate agent, nodded sympathetically and entered ‘Hell’ into the address box on the form.
She looked up to see Mr. Aspinall still rearranging his shroud. He smiled weakly.
“I apologise for the rather revealing attire. If I’d realised I was going to be wandering around like this for all eternity, I would have made sure my nearest and dearest had known to bury me in a pair of drawers.”
“Please don’t worry about it, Mr. Aspinall. I am a professional.” Miss Gould put the form to one side. “So, I take it you’r
Joanie    The assembly was lovely. The guest speakers ensnared the entire room, the slideshow was endearing, albeit a bit corny with the use of those sappy pop songs with the over-dramatic piano bits in them. But the most exceptional part was the moment of silence. For once, no one dared to make a sound, taking it as seriously as they could. I could see my friend Charlotte, sitting at the far end of the auditorium. Her eyes were red, blotchy from the sentimental bits of the whole event. I wish I could have sat next to her, but the matter was a bit out of my hands. I couldn't find a seat next to her. Or anywhere, for that matter.
It sort of sucks being dead.
It was now time for the eulogies. With shaking legs, Charlotte made her way to the stage, grasping a worn piece of paper. At the podium, she took a deep breath that made her body shudder. But as the words began to leave her mouth, she immediately seized up, the tears returning to her eyes. Quickl

The Thanksgiving Note Project 2015As a "means of seeing what people were thankful for, and to spread a bit of happiness around because it's nice to remember what it is we have to be thankful for in the first place", the Thanksgiving Note Project was created by ikazon many, many years ago.
Regardless of whether you live in a country that celebrates Thanksgiving or not, I'm sure you know what the word suggests! And following in the steps of ikazon and then Exillior, I will be hosting this fantastic project this year. :dummy:
But what is the Thanksgiving Note Project?
:bulletpink: you send me a note (the length and form is up to you! I need it in English, but if you feel inclined to make it a poem, you are welcome to do so :giggle:) telling me what or who you are thankful for!
:bulletpink: to show my thanks to you participants, I will be collecting prizes all throughout November.
:bulletpink: after November is over I will feature ALL NOTES (with the sender's name removed, becau
Lung Cancer Awareness: I Will Not Be DefeatedEvery year, we strive to find new opportunities make a difference! At: LungCancer-Awareness we hope to host a wonderful community project to uplift and inspire those around us. Each day, we hope to express understanding, love and hope for those fighting. It is not always easy to find our courage when facing the unknown – but we are all united here to help those facing this battle know that they are not alone. Those fighting against lung cancer (or any other cancers,) may have several unanswered questions and fears. No one taking this journey should ever have to face this ongoing battle alone, and this is where we come in: to show our love, support and to hopefully promote awareness.
LungCancer-Awareness: Cancer Will Not Defeat Me

For those not familiar with this group and its purpose, we shall delve into that right now. Our group was created to bring awareness to a well-known cancer that
Holiday Card Project 2015!
The DeviantArt #HolidayCardProject is back for its 9th year!  With the goal of bringing a bit of holiday cheer to patients in the hospital during the holiday season, the Holiday Card Project connects artists from around the world, applying their tremendous artistic abilities to designing and creating uplifting holiday cards.
In the past few years, this project has received more than 5,000 cards sent in by more than 2,000 deviants from 60 different countries/political regions. Cards are then divvied up and distributed by DeviantArt members to local Los Angeles hospitals, with additional cards given to various hospitals in the U.S. and abroad for DeviantArt volunteers and hospital staff members to hand out to patients.
The idea behind the Holiday Card Project is simple: do something nice for others. However, if you're looking for even more incentive, every deviant who sends in
